Segway Adventure Tours start rolling in the North West
Runcorn, Cheshire, UK – 1st June 2010.
A new Segway Tour comes to the North West courtesy of Segway Smiles Limited. Having already established themselves as the official authorised dealer and tour operator for Cheshire, Segway Smiles have more than doubled the fun by adding a longer and faster tour. The Segway Adventure Tour gives riders the opportunity to travel 2.5 times further than the existing Big Wood Tour, by extending the route into the neighbouring Windmill Hill Wood.
"Our customers kept telling us they wanted more time on the Segway PTs" said Gareth Brandwood, Managing Director. "So, we designed a longer route and made it faster and tougher. Our test riders have been loving it!"
The tour adds an additional option for customers as part of a pilot exercise, organised in association with the Woodland Trust and Norton Priory Museum & Gardens. The pilot aims to encourage an awareness of both the green technology and the woodland area itself, which is tucked away in the heart of Runcorn.
