Security
When you book online, we do not hold or have any access to any of your debit/credit card details. This is because your payment details are processed by PayPal directly, which is an international corporation who are in the business of providing secure transactions.
If you book over the phone, you need to provide us with your debit/credit card details so we can process your booking. However, we enter them directly into PayPal's secure system meaning we never actually store them or write them down.
You can be confident that the details processed via PayPal are safe and secure. PayPal do have their own terms and conditions and their own privacy policy.
The data we do hold (non-debit/credit card details) is held entirely in our electronic database and is not accessible by anyone outside of Segway Smiles Ltd. It is protected by strong username and password credentials.
Your information (and what we do with it)
When you make a purchase or use a voucher, we store the following information: Name, Address, Email and contact telephone number. This information is used to reference your booking and to add your details to our customer mailing list (see below).
For your convenience, your email address will be used to confirm your booking and following your experience, will be used to request that you complete a customer satisfaction survey. If you choose to complete the survey, the results will be permanently stored for analysis, but will not contain any personally identifiable information.
We may print out your information and use it to check the validity of bookings on the day of operation. Any printed material will be securely destroyed on the same day.
Before you can start your experience, you will be asked to sign our terms and conditions. The signed document will be retained by us for no more than 3 years.
When you email us, we obviously receive all of the information that you send us (this usually includes your name, email address and your message). Your email will be kept long enough for us to process your message/request, following which it will be deleted.
When you contact us using our online form, we receive all the details that you send us. Your email address and telephone number are optional. We receive this information in email form and therefore treat it like an email as described above.
Logs
Our web server routinely logs visitor information in the same way that almost all web servers do. For example, your IP address and web browser name are recorded. The pages you visit and the date and time of each visit is also recorded. This information is used by Segway Smiles to monitor trends in website usage.
Cookies
We do not currently use cookies on our website.

Mailing list
When you make a booking, you are given the choice to opt-out of our mailing list. If you do not opt-out, from time-to-time you may receive news and special offers from Segway Smiles. You can opt-out at any time following the instructions on the messages you receive.
